This single origin dark chocolate gets its unique flavour from Ecuadorian Nacional cocoa beans from Cacao Pods grown in the unique climate & geological conditions found in between its central mountain ranges and the Pacific Ocean. A slow fermentation and roasting of these beans is all it takes to give this chocolate its subtle floral bouquet of jasmine and earthy note of coffee at its finish. A perfect accompaniment to a strong espresso or a good salted caramel ice cream.
We think good chocolate starts with good intentions. So we only use cocoa that's ethically sourced, palm free and sustainably grown by farmers that are paid a fair price for their crops.
