Ugandan Bundibugyo | Organic Single Region | Dark Chocolate Bar | 80% Cocoa
This organic dark chocolate gets its unique flavour from cocoa beans from Cacao Pods grown in the unique climate & geological conditions found in Uganda’s mineral rich western region of Bundibugyo. A slow fermentation and gentle roasting of these beans is all it takes to make for a robust yet creamy dark chocolate with balanced finish of bitterness and acidity with gentle earthy back notes. A perfect accompaniment to acidic fruits like lemon and yuzu or desert wines with light floral and zesty notes.
We think good chocolate starts with good intentions. Which is why we only use cocoa that is ethically sourced and sustainably grown by farmers that are paid a fair price for their crops.
